AVENZA MAP
It is important that everyone download the AVENZA Map before the Event. Along with having the gpx file in your watch, this is the best thing to allow you to get back on course if you are unsure where you are. Course tampering does happen, or people miss a turn easily in trail running. So you need to have a map to know where you are.
Download the AVENZA Map App to your phone and in the Store search for the Keywords “Razorback Run 2026”. Then click “Free” next to the maps you need and it will download the maps for offline use on your phone. If you open the map, as long as you have enabled AVENZA to use your location, you will be able to locate where you are on the map and which way you are facing by clicking the little arrow. You can open and use this map even with no reception.
When you have the map open, have a play around. It is very useful. You can see the coordinates of the pointer down the bottom of the screen as you pan around the map. You can also press the draw icon in the bottom left to measure the distance between points.
62KM Ultra
Start: 5:00am at Harrietville Hotel Motel, 169 Great Alpine Rd, Harrietville VIC 3741.

Elevation Gain: 3420m
Cut-off (for 5am early starters): 12 hours to Diamantina Hut; 17 hours total
Age Limit: 18 years of age on event day.
Navigation: This is an unmarked course with limited checkpoints. Participants must be able to navigate with GPX or Maps.
Aid Station: One aid station only located at Diamantina Hut - 42km into race. Cut off here is 11 hours - 5:00PM.
Qualification: We have the right to request proof of your ability to complete the course and refuse entry if needed. This is a graduate level Ultra. The course is on remote trails, with limited access. Much of the course in unmarked.
COURSE MAP
37KM - the good loop

Navigation: This is an unmarked course with limited checkpoints. Participants must be able to navigate with GPX on watch or Mapping.
Aid Station: One aid station only located at Diamantina Hut - 23km into the race. Cut off here is 8 hours - 3:00pm
COURSE MAP
22KM Razorback Ridge
Start: 8:00am, Razorback Track Trailhead, Diamantina Hut, Great Alpine Rd, Hotham Heights VIC 3741
Finish: Razorback Track Trailhead

Distance: 21.8km
Elevation Gain: 834m (ascent + descent)
Cut-off: 7 Hours
Age Limit: Must be 16 years of age on event day.
Aid Station: No Aid Stations along the route.
Parking: There is some parking at the Razorback Track Trailhead for the early birds, but be prepared if full to park at Alpine Gateway, where there is loads and loads of parking, and walk down the road to get to the start line. It is a 1.8km walk from Alpine Gateway to the Start Line. There are toilets at Alpine Gateway too.
